About the event
We encourage people to bring their own signs or they can check out one from us at the event.
The event will be on Martin Way on the NE and SE sidewalks between Hoh St. and River Ridge Drive . We will be socially distanced and sign waving on that section of Martin Way.
Limited parking is available at RRHS Park nearby and walk to the Martin Way locations.

WHAT IS STAY WOKE?
STAY WOKE is for students, by studentsSTAY WOKE is a day-long summit that helps students of color use their voice, build their community, and develop the skills they need to create the future they want!
All students are welcome to participate! Our focus is on the education, leadership, lives and issues impacting students of color. White students willing to develop their allyship skills and be in a place of advocacy and learning about racial justice are welcome! |
Stay Woke organizers include students from North Thurston, RIver Ridge, Timberline, Capital High School and Olympia High, their advisors, teachers and administrators, college and community mentors, and St.Martin's University faculty.

9 am -10 am: Welcome and Community building (Gym) 10 am -11 am: Keynote speakers Sui-Lan Ho'okano and Reggie Jones, Gym 11:15-12:15 : Solidarity Spaces (Worthington and Harned) 12:15-1:15 : Lunch (provided by conference) 1:15-2:15: Workshops (various classrooms) 2:20-3:15: Workshops (various classrooms) 3:30-4:00: Give backs, reflection, Closing (Gym) |
